Friendship Day Craft ❤️ (FREE printable!)

Want something fun, easy for your kids to do and yet learn some Chinese and practice writing? This is the perfect craft for Valentine’s Day!

This craft encourages:

✅ Fine motor tracing skills ✍️

✅ Chinese literacy word recognition

✅ Scissors skills ✂️

✅ Folding skills

✅ Pasting skills

Inspired by iheartcrafts, here is the modified version (with Chinese writing) and FREE printable in the link here!

Step 1) Trace the Chinese characters 友情节快乐 (Happy Friendship Day!)

Step 2) Cut out the heart shape

Step 3) Fold down the middle of the heart and gold 1 side to the middle

Step 4) Fold the other side of the heart to the middle

Step 5) Fold up the curve side of the heart

Step 6) Fold down the pointed side of the heart

Step 7) Paste a heart shape sticker to stick it like an envelope!

And there you have it! You can even write your name or address on the flip side of the envelope and post it in a pretend mailbox :)

My Pre-K is a bit too young to trace the words, so colour within the heart shape is 👌.

Step 3 Cut out the heart shape

Can see that this craft is pretty easy for K-1.
